2022 Lü Tournament is fast approaching and training has officially started in schools around the world.
Are you wondering how the tournament works or what the rules are? Here is a short summary that will certainly help you prepare!
First step
Choose the age groups in which you want to participate
- You have 3 attempts per age category
- The trial with the best score will be counted
- The throwing distance and the height of the basket will be adapted accordingly to your age group

5-7 y/o | None | Small |
8-10 y/o | 2 m or 7 ft | Medium |
11+ y/o | 3 m or 10 ft | Tall |
It’s time to start!
- You have 5 minutes to score as many points as possible.
- Remember: Each shot can count for 1, 2 or 3 points.
- Be quick and precise!
- Place your team members in line
- There is no limit to the number of players per team (but be loyal to each other!) 😉
- Using one ball, each player has to throw the ball and get to the end of the line after throwing
