Our Commitment to Accessibility
At Lü, we believe that play should include everyone.
That is why we are committed to making our solutions more accessible to people of all abilities. While we are still working to meet all accessibility standards in full, we are actively identifying, prioritizing, and addressing areas where accessibility can be enhanced across our software, hardware, and digital platforms.
Evaluating Accessibility: VPAT and ACR
- To help us assess and communicate our progress, we have completed a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) and produced an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR).
- A VPAT is a standardized framework used to determine how a product aligns with established accessibility standards, including:
- * WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
- * Section 508 (U.S. federal accessibility requirements)
- Our ACR summarizes where our products currently support accessibility requirements and where we have opportunities to improve.
- These reports reflect our current understanding and progress at a point in time, and guide our roadmap toward greater inclusivity.
How We’re Applying Accessibility at Lü
Our commitment to accessibility extends across every aspect of design and development, with a focus on three key areas:
Hardware
We evaluate the physical design, installation, and use of Lü systems to identify opportunities for more inclusive interaction, such as mounting flexibility, calibration adjustments, and setup safety for different user needs.
Web & Digital Content
We are working toward alignment with WCAG 2.1 Level AA best practices for our website and online resources. This includes improving compatibility with assistive technologies, ensuring clear navigation, and supporting readable, accessible content across devices.
Moving Forward
Accessibility is an ongoing process that involves continuous improvement. Completing an ACR is just one step on this journey.
We will continue to update our accessibility documentation and share new initiatives as they roll out.
