What Is the Goal of an End-Of-Life Policy?

At Lü, we continuously update our solutions to ensure our products remain high-performing, secure, and aligned with current technological and educational standards.

This policy explains how we manage the end of life for our hardware and software products, so you can anticipate transitions and plan your equipment with confidence and transparency.

Lü Product Lifecycle

1. Active Life

The product:

  • is available for purchase
  • receives full support (hardware and software)

2. End of Active Life

The product:

  • is no longer sold
  • remains supported for a limited period

During this period, Lü may continue to provide:

  • technical support
  • certain repairs or replacements (depending on the availability of parts)
  • applicable software updates

 

3. End of Life

As of the End-of-Life date:

  • the product is no longer supported
  • Lü no longer guarantees the availability of parts, repairs, or updates
  • any assistance, if provided, will be on a best-effort basis

Warranty notice: The End-of-Life (EOL) dates listed above were determined based on the maximum duration of extended warranties offered by Lü. In all cases, any valid contractual warranty in effect during the End of Active Life (EOAL) period will be honored until its expiration, in accordance with Lü’s service terms.

 

Software Support

  • Software support is provided only for the latest official version of the Lü software.
  • Any version earlier than version 2.1 is no longer supported.
  • Security updates and bug fixes are only provided for supported versions.

 

Replacement and Upgrade Options

As products approach their end of life, Lü may offer:

  • replacement products
  • hardware upgrade options
  • solutions tailored to your needs, available for purchase

These options help ensure the continuity of your activities within an up-to-date technology environment.
