It should be simple to get moving.
Being physically active shouldn’t depend on having access to a gym or a perfectly designed space.
And yet, in reality, access to movement often depends on available space, infrastructure, or even the building itself. Over the years, through conversations with our clients and on-site visits, one observation kept coming back: not every environment offers the same conditions for physical activity.
Navigating real-world constraints
In many schools, community centers, and recreational spaces, the challenges are very real. Shared rooms, limited space, no dedicated sports areas, older buildings not suited for permanent installations, or community organizations doing everything in a single room.
And still, across all these environments, the goals remain the same: to move, play, connect, and be active.
Stanislas, Sales Manager at Lü, has observed that “a broader trend has emerged across education and recreation: spaces are becoming more versatile and less specialized.
In that context, permanent or highly structured solutions don’t always align with on-the-ground realities. Many environments are now looking for greater flexibility, including setups that can quickly adapt to activities, groups, and physical constraints.”
This reality highlighted the need for a solution as versatile as the spaces it would serve.
Once upon a time… Möbil
For a long time, Möbil was our portable solution. Unlike our permanent installations, Üno and Düo, it could move from room to room to meet different needs.
Möbil paved the way and played an important role in its time. But as it was used and tested in real settings, its limitations became harder to ignore.
Setup took time. Transportation was heavy and cumbersome. Assembly involved multiple parts and steps. And despite its name, its mobility was… relative.
That’s why, in April 2025, we introduced Möve: a new solution designed to be truly portable and easy to deploy, making physical activity more accessible, flexible, and possible in a wide range of spaces.

From intention to innovation
While Möve officially launched in 2025, the journey began long before that. The solution emerged from months of research and development, along with close collaboration between our teams.
From a technological standpoint, it marked the first time we integrated so many moving mechanical components into a single solution. Through a rigorous intellectual property process, we introduced innovations in the connection mechanism between the two main parts, the deployment of the system’s legs, and the lighting module, creating an immersive experience comparable to our permanent installations.
Safety was also a key focus. Möve includes several protective features: an anti-pinch system when folding the legs, an anti-tip mechanism to reduce risks during use, and an automatic return to a safe position in case of power loss. Unlike certain floor-mounted equipment that can create obstacles and tripping hazards, Möve also integrates into a space without compromising user safety.
“By rapidly iterating on early ideas and sharing them with the development team and the entire Lü team, we were able to gather feedback quickly and continuously integrate it. This collaborative process, where everyone contributes and builds on ideas, allowed innovative solutions to emerge and helped us overcome challenges along the way,” explains Yannick, Hardware Product Manager at Lü.
The result is a modern-looking solution that’s ready to use in under five minutes.
With just two pieces to assemble, an automatically deploying mast, and wheels integrated into both the transport case and the base of the unit, Möve directly addresses the main challenges our clients experienced with Möbil.

Beyond the gym
Until now, our solutions have primarily lived in school environments, often permanently installed in elementary school gyms. They quickly resonated with students thanks to their ability to create engaging, active experiences aligned with their reality and interests.
With Möve, that experience is no longer confined to the traditional gym.
Its portability opens the door to a much wider range of environments. Whether in a community center, a multipurpose room, or a space where permanent installation simply isn’t possible, Möve makes immersive physical activity more accessible.
As a result, more young people of all ages can discover new ways to integrate movement into their daily lives, far beyond the school setting.

And now?
Today, nearly a year after its launch, Möve has already expanded what’s possible for Lü and for the environments that adopt it.
“Möve is awesome for PE classes because it’s incredibly portable and easy to use. It’s lightweight and simple to move, making it perfect for transitioning from a classroom to a gym and other large spaces. With a touch of a button, you can quickly transform your space into an interactive, immersive environment where students can play and learn. Setup only takes a few minutes, allowing teachers to spend more time focusing on activities instead of preparation and planning.”

A few numbers that stood out
“Möve has, without a doubt, been Lü’s most ambitious product development project. We did many things for the first time, and it allowed us to build internal expertise we didn’t have before.
What stands out most is how essential it is to listen to the market and to users. That’s what enables us not only to create relevant solutions, but also to push our own limits. Today, we come out of this project with more speed, more rigor, and a stronger ability to execute what comes next,” concludes Vincent, President at Lü.
The lessons we’ve learned over the past year are already shaping our next decisions. As we continue to imagine solutions that transform everyday spaces into active, immersive environments, we aim to better adapt to the realities of diverse settings, offering more possibilities to those who don’t always have ideal conditions for physical activity.
Because being physically active shouldn’t be complicated!
