Our Story

The story behind Lü

What if technology could inspire people to be more active, curious, and eager to develop new skills? It was this premise that led to the creation of Lü.

Driven by his creative background in music, film, and technology, co-founder Vincent Routhier envisioned a new way to make learning environments more engaging through immersive, playful experiences. The first iteration of Lü was launched in 2017 at Externat St-Jean-Berchmans in Québec City. It didn't take long for the concept to gain attention and generate excitement among students and educators alike.

Over the years, Lü has established itself as an innovative force in education, leaving its mark on thousands of schools around the world and helping make learning more active and motivating.

As Lü's impact became increasingly clear, so did its potential to benefit people far beyond school environments. Since 2026, Lü's mission has expanded to a variety of spaces and contexts where people of all ages can rediscover the joy of movement they experienced as children.
