West Baton Rouge Parish Schools (WBR Schools), a 4,150-student public school system in Louisiana, is renowned for its progressive approach to integrating technology into classrooms to support instruction. When administrators began looking for new ways to incorporate academics into physical education, they found the perfect solution – Lü.
Transforming Gymnasiums into Dynamic Learning Spaces
Lü revolutionizes traditional learning spaces by offering an array of fun, educational applications that immerse students in interactive experiences within school gyms. Powered by Epson laser projectors, motion-detecting cameras, powerful sound systems, and fully automated multi-color lighting, Lü systems create vivid images that can be easily seen by students in large gymnasiums.

Fostering Learning through Physical Activity
Lü offers a diverse library of applications covering subjects such as Mathematics, STEAM, Physical Education, Languages, and Geography, which engage students and facilitate learning through physical movement.
Dr. Tammy Seneca, Supervisor of Information Systems and Educational Technology at WBR Schools, emphasizes the appeal: "It’s the idea of using tech as a tool. We liked the idea of being able to bring academics into physical activity. It allows for problem-solving, too. Kids love gaming and you can kind of trick them into doing math problems! The kids are still playing and having fun while they’re practicing multiplication tables."

Lü's implementation
West Baton Rouge Parish Schools partnered with reseller Trafera to install Lü systems in each of their elementary and middle school gymnasiums. Reflecting on their integration, Seneca highlights their appeal to educators: “Teachers love it. It shows them that we can blend academics with PE in a fun way.”
The team loved the system so much that one school, which faced the challenge of insufficient space for accommodating the games on a flat wall, ingeniously created a workaround. Staff constructed a "temporary wall" on a hinged mechanism, allowing for easy unfolding when using the Lü.
The flexibility of Epson’s laser projectors makes them perfect for many applications outside of typical classroom use. Partnering Epson projectors with Lü proved to be an excellent solution to help physical education teachers create fun, impactful lessons that teach academic concepts while also engaging students in physical activity.
