The Lü Club  was created at the Stillwater Elementary School in New Jersey. Two Physical Education teachers at the school, Mr. Tiberi and Mrs. Earley wanted to find a way to incorporate the Lü more significantly at the school, knowing they were already using it for each grade during their PE classes. They came up with the idea of forming an after-school club to bring together 5th and 6th graders so they would be able to try out and test different applications, as well as develop their own content.

This year, 20 students participated in the Lü Club which lasted 10 weeks. During their meetings, the students got to meet Denisse, Lü’s educator’s development coordinator, who gave them virtual tours of our offices, test and production spaces and got to tell them more about the company.

In the beginning of each meeting, students went through the different Lü apps and participated in the activities presented. They also worked together on a Lü Club logo, and came up with ideas for new applications that might be interesting to use on the Lü.They even got the chance to present their work to the Lü company during the last meeting they had.

Mr.Tiberi and Mrs. Earley are glad to say that: “The Lü Club has helped us as Physical Education teachers to become more aware of the various applications that Lü has to offer as well as how to play them.  It gave us a chance as well as the students to explore more.”

The Lü Club is really a success at Stillwater Elementary School. It allows the children to join forces and ideas in an atmosphere of respect, mutual aid and fun. A great initiative that will surely inspire other schools to engage their students in their learning in a different way.
