What will you be achieving in this future role?
As a K-12 B2B Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling educational products and services to K-12 schools and school boards. This role involves identifying potential clients, building relationships, and providing customized solutions to meet the educational needs of schools. You will work closely with educators, administrators, and school board officials to ensure the successful introduction and implementation of products and services. More specifically, you will:
- Develop and cultivate opportunities in collaboration with partner resellers.
- Play an active role in market intelligence (US market, education, K-12, etc.) to support sales strategy and planning.
- Research and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals and calls.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to understand client needs and demonstrate product value.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets within the territory (US).
- Provide guidance on how to maximize the educational impact of the product.
What does it take to succeed in this role?
- English language fluency is required as clients in the covered territory are English-speaking
- University degree in education, business, marketing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the K-12 education system and its purchasing processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Motivated, goal-oriented and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- This role may require travel to meet clients, attend industry events and conduct product demonstrations.
